Halloween haunted house & Ghost train
Are you ready for another spine-tingling, hair-raising, blood-curdling experience…
Hold your breath, count to three and step through the decrepit doors this year of the Don River Railway and experience the terror of this year’s Halloween Haunted House & Ghost Train if you dare!

Fairy Tales & Pirate Sails has successfully run their Haunted House for many years at their East Devonport premises growing every year to capacity.
This year we have teamed up with the Don River Railway to further add to a great experience. The Don River Railway will provide a more industrial setting in their Two Tracks Function Centre and include a short Ghost Train experience. Coffee, food, novelty retail offerings & face painting are available.
We have also introduced online ticketing to reduce significant wait times.
Due to the popularity of the event ticket sales are likely to be exhausted before the event so gate sales may not be available. If any tickets remain on the day we will post on Facebook.
We highly recommend booking early, it also helps us plan & add more to the event if we know numbers early!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION & TICKET OPTIONS
The 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm & 5:30 pm sessions will be a more tame version without jump scares.
All other sessions include all the scares we have to offer.
Please carefully select the correct date & time when booking to avoid disappointment.
Each session begins with the Ghost Train, Please take note of your session time & arrive 15 minutes before your session. The Ghost Train leaves at the time on your ticket, if you’re late you will miss out.
Tickets: Admit 1 – $15.00
Children Under 2 are free with a paying adult & must sit on a parent’s knee during the ghost train. ( no ticket required )
Companion Card Holders are free with a paying ticket holder & must select a companion ticket on checkout.
Due to the nature of our vintage train carriages, the ghost train is not wheelchair or pram-friendly.
However, we do have ramped access into the carriages & have our friendly staff here to assist. (Prams can be left on the platform during the ghost train) If you don’t need the pram we encourage you not to bring it.
The haunted house will be wheelchair & pram friendly.
Children Attending:
It is at the discretion of the parents whether they bring their little people through either session. Children must be accompanied by an adult at least to the gate for the scarier sessions from 7 pm onward.
