Bridestowe Lavender Estate
Finally returned to Bridestowe to see the lavender fields in full bloom.
We chose to visit prior to summiting Mount Arthur, visible in the distance.
Walking through the expansive purple fields surrounding the historic 1881 oak tree, followed by tasting the lavender-flavoured ice cream, is truly a must-do Tasmanian experience.
Advice
There was a line up of cars to get in but it was nice and quick, there are plenty of car parks available and PLENTY of room to move about the lavender.
