Dip Falls
The sound, the energy and the power of Dip River pouring down a wide 30 metre high slope of dark hexagonal basalt lava, after a week of heavy rainfall, was very intense and very impressive!
If there isn’t much water flowing it’s still good to see the river tricking down the hexagonal basalt lava.

Remember to check out ‘The Big Tree’ or should I say “trees”
The Blue Hills honey farm is on the way to the Falls, be sure to stop in, it’s really lovely there.
