Reggies Falls

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of nature, this little spot is simply beautiful. Although the waterfall was flowing a bit slower than usual due to the recent lack of rain, the view more than made up for it. Standing at the lookout, the waterfall cascades gently to the left while the valley stretches out ahead — a breathtaking panorama of lush greenery and tranquil scenery. It’s one of those places that quietly captures your heart, reminding you how stunning simplicity can be.

Advice

If you’re coming from Sheffield, head towards Gowrie Park. Just after passing the rodeo grounds, take a quick left turn onto O’Neills Road. Follow this road until you reach the Mount Roland Regional Reserve car park, where you can leave your vehicle.

Before setting off, make sure to sign the visitor book, then follow the main track heading toward Mount Roland. When you reach the junction, stay on the left-hand track. You’ll cross a few small creeks before reaching O’Neills Creek and a set of stairs.

From the car park, it’s a little over 5 kilometres to a pink ribbon tied to a tree on the right side of the trail — this marks the turnoff. Follow that side path for a few minutes, and you’ll arrive at the waterfall.
